Rasmus over Tucker in left must mean they value Rasmus defense over Tuckers bat with McHugh on the mound.
Meh. I think it just means that Hinch is staying consistent with his revolving door lineup.
It's working more often than not. It is cool that he can do it with 4 competent OFs now.

The McCullers trade piece argument holds no water. If we were going to trade a pitching prospect, I would hope it would be Appel.

I really hope we don't trade either because we probably won't get what they are with but you never know. I didn't understand why we traded trapeono after a strong debut for a backup catcher, but we did.

Who would have ever thought we'd see McCullers before we see Straily?
This is bizarre

Strain has pretty much sucked

I just mean that back in Spring, Straily was in the running for that 5th starter spot and LMJ wasn't even a blip on the radar for this season.

Yep. Things can change for sure.

Uncle Charlie from Port Arthur right there.

Last time I checked FanGraphs pitch Value numbers had McHugh with the most effective curveball in the league this year.

Guy is hitting 2 hundo but when he makes contact he goes yard. He uses the Crawford boxes to his advantage.

I bet Carter's doink last night bought him another month in the lineup.

He has had some better at bats of late.

Hinchs remarks in the presser pretty much said stfu to everybody who has been banging on Carter. He isn't going anywhere.

He's taking up for his guys like every good manager should. I really like Hinchs demeanor...none of Tha faux tough guy crap Porter used to throw out

Well winning changes everything so it's tough to say for certain, but this team has had a different demeanor about them from the start on the field and in the dugout. So far nothing but praise for what he has done.
