Not too very long ago, I was sitting in Wrigley for a WS game and their VP of Operations at their AAA Iowa team was sitting behind me, Nate Teut.
I was commenting on the ridiculous upswing that Kris Bryant had and all of the how and whys. He told me they were specifically teaching it to all of their hitters across the board. I told him they were taking crazy pills.

Supposedly not a stuff guy. But if hes going to be a crafty lefty, hes got to have some kind of enticement to get off balance swings. I don't see how throwing 91 over the plate, not spotting corners and throwing a sweepy side to side slider without any break keeps guys off balance.
