and I’m beyond the point where I’d rather see Dubon than Rodgers for a bit

I thought Rodgers had more potential to be a useful player. At least compared to Dubon starting every day. But frick that. Dudes carrying a 37% k rate now. That's horrific. Idk what the frick Cintron did to him but his career rate is 22%. How do we let a guy see a 15% balloon and k rate?

Yea I didn’t think Rodgers would be a difference maker, but a nice piece to the rest of the lineup and at worst an average bat with slightly above average defense. It doesn’t seem like he’s taken a comfortable swing all year

He is just showing why multiple teams have given up on a 1st round pick, with this being his final stop

It's odd that he looks so uncomfortable with an adjusted swing. He hits the ball hard when he actually hits the ball but Rodgers is fighting himself at the plate.

Blanco and Framber really stepped up after long nights from the bullpen the previous day.

Even with 3 starters out of the rotation, the pitching has been playoff caliber, outside of LMJ’s short lived PR stint

And like Jwho points out, Pena and his son have been mostly bright spots. Even below average production from the rest has this team first in the division
