Interesting lineup today
Astros starting pitching has been good so far, be it against the Rangers.
Ill take any victory no matter how small

And fat shitty Jake Burger accidentally runs one out the other way after a bullshite infield single.

Yordan sure has a lotta whiffs the last few games

Cole looks bad against breaking balls

Lambert not looking the same. 6 innings was probably enough for him.
Oh wait. Here comes Joe

Crap tough 7th for Lambert. Bad walk to Joc, 2B, then 0-2 HBP

Joe continues to prove he has no read on his pitching staff. How many times has he left a guy in 2 batters too long?

That’s a missile but Shewmake probably has to make that play it was hit right at him

And the bullpen throwing batting practice

BABIP’d like a mother fricker today

Night after night.
Plus he punted on this game with this pathetic lineup. I know there isn’t a lot he could have done, but don’t sit Paredes with Altuve out and having to play Salazar.

Welp frustrating to have a game within reach and it blows up, but they were evidently never going to score anyway.
Reinforcements on the way. JP and Jake will make the trip to Minny. Assuming Tuve to the IL and then probably Shay down. Jake ain’t anything special but if he’s taking at bats away from Cam that’s a big positive.
Pearson will be up too probably for Bolton

Agreed. I am pretty much out on Cam.

Is there any way we can avoid watching Nick Allen going forward

Shewmake should play every day at 2nd, but they’ll unfortunately do the gay thing of easing JP back in so we will see him at least 3 times next week.

Pena is more likely to have a career worst season than his career high numbers last year
I just as soon see any other option get some reps than give him a chance to back into a deal with us or leverage a long term deal elsewhere
