We need to move Bregman to 3rd pronto! Get him 100 at bats in Fresno and then call him up.

Fangraphs provides in-depth analysis of just how bad it has gotten with Other Carlos. And it is basically telling us not to expect much improvement unless he is hurt and needs rest.

More like LF. See Gomez, Carlos.

I don't know if it was mentioned in the DAT that day, but did anyone feel like bringing Fields in the game day before yesterday was like waving the white flag? It was a 2-0 game.

Castro is absolutely terrible at the plate. Don't let a good week fool you, he is still a career .220 hitter. Sign Lucroy in the offseason, make a weak offer to Gomez and hopes he signs somewhere else so you get a comp pick.

Not against the idea of Kemp in CF, but Marisnick is the best defensive CF in the game.

Deal Moran and Singleton for a legit starter and move Bregman to 3rd (poor mans Machado) AJ Reed is the future at 1b anyway.

Bench Gomez for good! Rasmus in LF, Marisnick in CF and Springer in RF.

It felt like a mistake for sure. Despite the stupid analytics-based defense of Fields going on at TCB today, the reality is that he is a whatever arm who cannot be trusted in key spots. There is no reason that his one plus pitch entitles him to a roster spot at this moment over guys with two or three like Feliz and Hoyt.

If we offer Gomez a QO I would have a brain aneurysm

Jake Marisnick is the best defensive CF in the game today. That's the love affair with him. Tremendous jump on the ball, never a wasted step in pursuit and has a top 5 OF arm in baseball. He just struggles at the plate. But with regular playing time he would hit around .230.

He hates it in Houston and wants to retire a Brewer. I'm not saying offer him 4 years for $75 million like he is rumored to get.

I'm 100%with Gomez playing less but with that said marisnick hit like .170 in triple a this year

he isn't getting 4/75. In order to get a comp pick you would have to offer him 1/18. It would take a miraculous turnaround this year for him to restore his value. If he gets 4/75 we probably won the World Series

Gomez won't be on the team next year and we aren't getting a pick for him, it's pretty simple

Because he would have to take it. Luhnow just needs to accept that we aren't getting a compensatory pick out of this guy.

I'm all for giving Kemp a shot at the ML level. Not sure who would would send down though because someone has to go to make room for McCullers as well

In 27 at bats though. I'm not saying Jake will amount to anything more than a replacement runner/OF but we don't know if a 25-year old is done developing yet. Chances are, he is not done.

I wouldn't be opposed to Jake bunting every single AB.
