How does in market streaming work? I have a cable account that has ROOT.do I need an app? Do I have to pay for mlbtv?

So far it's only for Directv and Consolidated (I think) and you stream through the MLB at bat app on your phone. I haven't streamed it on a computer yet, not sure what the process is for that.

Fair enough. I'll play along...
1) I work at a place that does indeed have cable.
2) I will not be at my place of work during the Astros-Yankees telecast.
Hope that clears everything up for you, High C.

Let's see how Luhnoe and Hunch can mess this series up, guys! Amirite?

It's ok, man. Managers and coaches are always the easiest to blame.

Things to know about this game
• The Astros have two players who were with the Yankees last year -- Brian McCann and Carlos Beltran.
"Two really, really good guys," Girardi said. "I got to see Brian in Spring Training. [Brett Gardner] had a lot of fun with him. We didn't get to see Carlos because he was at the [World Baseball Classic]."
Said Beltran on facing his old team: "It's a huge series. The mentality is trying to win it. That's the mentality. They're playing well right now, we're playing well right now. They feel good about themselves, we feel good about ourselves, so it's going to be a fun one."
• According to Statcast, Keuchel has thrown an MLB-high 12.4 percent of his pitches on the corners of the strike zone this season -- mostly on the lower corners -- the highest rate in the Majors for those with at least 250 total pitches.
• If New York gets off to a good start, Houston seems unlikely to be fazed. The Astros lead the Majors in comeback wins with 14, and they have rallied to win three games this season after trailing by five runs.

My comment is a continuation of what was being said at the end of the game yesterday when the Astros win and marks the best start in franchise history and there are posters here that say Hinch sucks and "the jury is still out" on a GM that's been on the job working on the job for half a decade.
I'm not the one that needs to "Let it go." Y'all know I can't let ridiculous comments/discussions like that slide without me throwing my comments in there.
I'm just here to completely defend the management. Some here want perfection and it's never going to happen. I just want to remind them of that.
With that said, I don't want to start a bitching contest. I'm looking forward to the series! Even looking forward to Jeters ceremony. Lord knows if Houston drops a game or two in New York, there will be plenty of that later.

Don't see the Saturday game being played with current forecasts. Storm moving up coast all day Saturday. Should be out in time for the Sunday night game.

Hinch has become a much better manager this year imo.

I guess this is a good thing, it would be nice to jump on a few teams early. 14/23 wins as comebacks seems excessive.

I've got that same koozie up here. I think I bought it at an Academy when I went home a couple of Thanksgivings ago

No, but I could probably obtain access inside if I really wanted to.
I think I'd rather just be at my place and either listen to the KBME radio broadcast or try to stream it on Reddit.
B-Dub's is an option as well.
