Why did espada pull Michael Bolton so fast? Has he not watched our bullpen the last week?

Anyone want to bet we start swinging out of our shoes and move away from quality at bats?

ETA: Happy to see that they seem to be letting the game come to them.

He’s got a horrible feel for pitching in situations like that.

Feels relevant with what’s transpiring… am I the only one who thinks going to the 6 man rotation is a bad idea? Not just now, but anytime.

Isn’t shorting your bullpen a guy worse than asking your starters to work on 4 days rest? I don’t get it.

It also assumes Javier is still a major league starter

Also. Weiss two worst outings in spring were entering mid inning.

He even said that he’s still got to get used to that since he’s a starter for his career. Pretty high leverage spot in a three run game and Espada ran him out there instead trying a more traditional reliever finish the inning and then turning the ball over to him.

I’d imagine he’s starting some time this weekend in Seattle

I'm prepared to get nothing with the bases loaded. Its part of our existence.

Everything is stepping in the bucket to lift pull side and he still caps middle-middle fastballs and sliders.

He has no idea what to do at the plate.

And we have some early returns that strongly suggest it's not the hitting coach that's the problem. Yainer Diaz is the problem.

Too late for Weiss to catch whatever bus Rodderigo got dumped on?
