Only downside is there’s no game to watch tonight or tomorrow night.

Wish we could get an active enough nightly MLB thread to discuss action around the league

I was just saying that to someone. Love day games but it makes it feel like 2 off days when you have nothing to watch 2 straight nights

You will get more of this later into the season, there's still A LOT of games to be played!

Nice to get a win on a day when the starter, offense and defense were shaky to downright bad.

@AndrewSimonMLB
Brad Peacock is *extremely* nasty.
Threw the final 3 scoreless innings today in a 1-run win vs. the Orioles, struck out 5.
He got 12 swinging strikes on 39 pitches (31%), 9 of them on his filthy slider.

It’s pretty impressive we can get a win against another team’s ace with keuchel not at his best, springer going 0-4, and stassi, marisnick, Davis and fisher in the lineup at the same time.

Meh we could if the Cubs, Braves, and Astros didn't have their own thread

So I didn’t check any scores and just casually followed this thread. I thought we were getting killed out there. Sweet.

Hey Berg, we're you with a girl recently that posted a chug video on Facebook?

It was a sluggish game. Lapses in defense. Dallas labored. No hits from like 4 batters. Lots of strikeouts. Frustrating game until we went ahead and peacock came in.

They played bad defense, Keuchel battled poor control all day and Bundy was mowing through the lineup. It was ugly but they did enough to keep it close and manufactured a couple small ball runs to win it.
Our runs came on an RBI groundout, a squeeze bunt and a single after a stolen base.

This is tigerdroppings. If we were anything less than 6-1 and every post would be about needing to fire the coach

Not necessarily true. AJ has earned some credit after last year. Look how much he’s already learned even from last year. One run game and he didn’t pitch Giles automatically for the save.

AJ has grown into a superb manager who was at his best in the World Series when he owned his buddy Dave Roberts. Hunch matured as a manager as his team matured in front of him.

I can't remember a negative comment about Hinch this year.
