Joey/Jake CF platoon or Joey in LF with Dubonnaroo in CF. Seems the latter is likely with Chas hurting.

I'm starting to wonder if it'll be Abreu and they're waiting for press availability with Brown to announce it. Team has already officially announced Loperfido is up but they're holding off on announcing the corresponding move.

I don't see why they would want or need to hold a press conference to announce they're releasing him
I think it's likely they're waiting to see if it makes sense to put Chas on the IL

Not a press conference. Press availability with Brown and Espada pre-game. Send the man off with some dignity, say a few nice things about his career and his clubhouse presence and how much you appreciate him, how hard he worked. Blah blah. Rather than just put out press release on an off day saying btw we released Abreu.

Jake got hit on the hand in Chicago and it looked nasty, but stayed in and finished that game.
He was the only one that didn’t take an at bat in Mexico City, they called Cabbage up for OF help and it was explicitly said Loperfido was gonna play OF. Hopefully it’s not the case and Jake is fine just another scenario
