They were pretty up front about the fatigue for Wesneski, think they said velo was down in KC (it was down 1.7mph from his season average) but he felt fine. It’s his first time being a part of a major league rotation, and if you want him there all year makes some sense to protect him and build in some recovery time especially with all these off days.
Also, Lance had that brace put in last year which was public so he’s probably just adding that in there as another surgery to that area

No, go listen to his comments again. He clearly said, "had the first TJ and it was successful, then had another one with the full flexor...".
They never once disclosed he had a second TJ.
I'm no doctor, by my Holiday Inn Express degree makes me feel that TJ and full flexor tendon surgeries are two discreet things.

Pretty normal stuff for a starter who hasn’t had a huge workload before. They are far from the only team that has done or is doing this

The A's are playing surprisingly good ball. 17-15 after taking 3 of 4 against the Rangers. They've quietly stocked some talented players during their suckfest. Curious if they can keep it up and if they'll be deadline players.

As are gonna be a wagon the next 5 or 6 years. Great young talent and a loaded farm. When they move into the LV stadium, revenue should give a big boost.
