Be that as it may, I’m more prone to let him show me over watching Chas, Jake, and Dubon

He’s not getting better on the bench

Days off from successive games or versus a very tough pitcher understood

It seems Julia Morales is in the booth tonight. Look, I like her and I think she’s a great dugout reporter. But giving her her own day in the city? Come the frick on

Yep. She’s cute and funny in a weird, nerdy way. But letting her call games and giving her a day is too much.

Espada said they just want to give him a few more days to rest/recover from last start. Mind you he went 5IP and 80 pitches so idk

Our man is now hitting. 331 with 11 doubles 6 HR 23 RBI 12 walks. Last year his peaks in those categories for any month were a .310 average, 6 doubles, 7HR 16RBI 10 walks.

He is striking out a lot more. 25 strikeouts this month. Most in a month last year was 17.

Of note, last year he hit .230 with RISP. This year, .306. Ooof.

Jesus Christ. Carpenter clearly HBP but Hinch doesn’t challenge. Next pitch tank to the bullpen

Tuve with the middle of his foot on the middle of the bag

He is the worst baserunner with his speed maybe in the history of the game

I'm about over Yainers frickery.

Maybe we can nudge him to audition for the Bananas. His Schtick is that he swings a 20 foot bat. Pitcher throws toward the dugout and Yainer believes he can get wood on it.

That's a better use of his skills than what he's doing now.

I’ve never a team swing at more bad pitches than ours.

Yainer and Dezenzo saw two strikes between them.

TK and Blum were talking about how Olson's fastball has gotten knocked around but his changeup and slider have been really good for him.

That's bad news for our aggressive, chase happy lineup if they're going to go after his non strikes and keep him away from his fastball.

ETA: like that shite there

Agreed. But if only MLB teams could hire hitting coaches or better yet, coaches in charge of game planning. I think the bench coach does that. If only our manager had some bench coach experience. Sigh.

Bullpen the rest of the way? Not very optimistic given our bats tonight. I don’t think we’ve had a baserunner reach 2nd base
