I’d take him. That’s where we’re at

shite, I'd settle for signing Bauer and Greinke right now. They can't be any worse than the sub par talent that's in Sugar Land.

Tanking for Ethan Holliday baws.

I'm okay with that.
Would be fantastic if Theo Gillen falls a few spots in this year's draft so the Astros can get him. Kid is going to be an absolute star for someone.

The A’s just shut out the Yankees. Their closer struck out the side (the top 3 including Soto and Judge) in the 9th. He hasn’t allowed a run since his first appearance of the year and only allowed one baserunner in his last 5 appearances. What a time to be alive.

Posted this in an earlier thread. I'm going to start posting it every day, just as I did frick Off, Dusty Baker back in the day... it finally worked with him after we all got on board with the FODB philosophy.
Time for Brown to make some moves:
I’m down with shipping Tucker, Bregman and Verlander to Detroit for half of Detroit’s farm.
As for Pressly, I have a new idea.
Instead of sending HIM a bag of dicks, let's trade him to some other team for a season's supply of bag of dicks. That way, we have plenty to last the season to send to Hader.

To be fair I think Mason Miller (Oakland closer) was a big time prospect for them
Wanna say he started a game against us last year and was really impressive
He’ll be a stud for some other team in a few years when his rookie contract is nearing its end

We could have had Yuli for the cost of every Jose Abreu baseball card ever made, Not that it would have been a long term fix, just emphasizing how bad of a signing he has become
And I unfortunately was excited about it when it initially happened. I can’t even think of a more severe collapse in one’s career

In to say frick this team. That's all they get from me.

Yeah certainly he’s good. I just thought ours was supposed to be too.
Who would have imagined Montero would be the best of this year’s relievers so far?
We have 6 blown saves I think. Convert 4 of those 6, which is very reasonable and we’re looking at 11-12, which, considering the injuries and strength of schedule, would be acceptable.

A point worth considering which we'll gain some clarity on as we head into the summer months is the draft and luxury tax penalties the Astros are currently set to incur. Those penalties are based on end of the year payroll so if this piece of shite keeps clunking along, Crane will have lost the incentive to pay a tax penalty on the overage.
