DAT 4/14 Astros (Frambaw) @ Cardinals (Gray) 6:45

Week in review:
- First grand slam since Jose Abreu in 2023
- E-sock has a HR in 3 straight games. Guy loves the Crawford Boxes
- Tay Scott is not a high-leverage guy and requires at least a 3-run cushion to warrant an appearance imo
- I don't like re-living losses but it's a part of the weekly review. Blowing a 5-0 lead in the 8th is inexcusable
- Joe Espada continues to display managerial malpractice when it comes to bullpen decisions
- Losing Spaghetti hurts. Our arms are going to be taxed during his absence and some of the younger guys need to step up. I read that he was playing catch in the outfield when he got hit on the hand...how about you use your glove next time. SMH
- Friday night was a lot fo fun - 16 hits and 14 runs. Everyone in the starting lineup had a hit.......except Dubon (0-5, but 0 Ks)
- 10-run curse remains very real
- Wesneski has had b2b quality starts. 13IP 15Ks 5ER and 0 (ZERO) walks
- LMJ inching closer to a return. He went 4 scoreless and generated 13 swing and misses on 61 pitches yesterday. Next appearance is sometime this week, and the goal is for him to hit 75-80 pitches
Looking ahead:
3 games @ STL
Off day Thursday
3 games vs Padres

So, would you say he is heating up?

They are really trying to make the Dubon thing happen. Can he be like the non-competing mascot or something? Orbit’s buddy?

Yordan in left tonight? How many times has that happened this year? I haven't been tuned in as intently as normal the last week or so

This will be his 4th start out there, 3rd time out there for a Framber start.
Think Rodgers has a hip issue so Dubie is getting some run and nice to get Jose off his feet for a day.

We're going to hit a million groundballs against gray tonight.

Nice to see Framber get out of the unscathed. 2 great Ks too

Framber got nasty there with a little traffic on

Finally have someone thrown out and Dubon whiffs the tag. Ugh

Pretty frustrating teams know they can run at will against us

Yep and another BB comes around to hurt a pitcher.

Myles Straw just homered for Toronto to break up a no hitter
Didn’t even know he was on the Jays

I am once again begging for an Astros baseball player to hit a ball hard

Astros offense is lifeless and shitty again. I gotta admit, I didn't see this coming. Not even a little bit.

Damn two pitches up this inning and they make Framber pay for both of them
