Just read on the Twitter that Myles Straw has 4 multi-hit performances in the last 5 games & 4 SB in 8 games and has started a few games at SS.

I'd be a little upset, Straw has been one of my favorite Astros prospects for a while now... but... banners hang forever.

Derek Fisher has been killing it in Round Rock as well.
Fisher has four homers in four games. He could be playing for more than half of the MLB teams right now. The New York Yankees being one of them. Pretty cool if you’re a Round Rock fan, getting to see legit MLB players play on your Triple A team.
Yordan Alvarez has been playing really well, too, posting a 1.614 OPS in his first four games. He should be our DH real soon, and I’d like to see him spell Michael Brantley in LF or Yuli at 1B when they need a night off.

Yordan needs more work at 1B in the minors if they want him to come up and play there at the big league level.
He started 4 games at 1B last year and 1 so far this year. Hopefully they plan on mixing in more so that he's a capable defender there.

Yeah, I unfortunately agree that he will likely be a piece of the Bumgarner deal.
The fact the Dodgers and Astros have invested in him will make it a no brainer come deadline

I think i read somewhere that Yordan is terrible defensively. DH is right up his alley.

Always forget how easy of a trip it is from Houston. If it was on the other side of Austin it’d be more of a hassle but you can easily make it to RR in 2.5 hours

Yeah everything I’ve read says Yordan should not be playing the OF, maybe not the field at all
