The roof deal is a huge pet peeve. Went to an April game several years ago, where they actually opened it and it was glorious. I don’t understand it. If they were going to keep it closed all the time just build a fixed roof and save several million.

Apparently the players prefer the roof closed. I give zero fricks about that when they're scoring a run a game.

Yep. I still don’t understand why they don’t just follow through with the temperature ranges that most of these parks originally published as to whether the roof is open or closed.
I mean, the forecast temperature at first pitch is 76 and should be around 70 by the time the game ends. It would be more comfortable than with it shut…gets warm in there IMO.
