I remember him from ULL. ULL has another pitcher from that team in AAA with the Blue Jays. And that team didn’t make the tournament.

Abreu need not bat ahead of Yainer but that sould sort itself out in time.

Honestly have no idea what to expect from Abreu this year. I think his back injury hampered his swing all year long. They said he's taken up pilates which may be beneficial to his health. But it's also hard to have full optimism on the idea of a guy with season long back problems having a big bounce back year at 37. He's not far removed from being a productive hitter but neither was Yuli was his decline began

I am cautiously optimistic on Abreu. There were real signs of life late in the year and in October and you could tell he really pressed outside just the injuries

I would hope if he’s hurt he takes time to get right this year instead of continuously trotting out there as a free out. I think he’s the key swing player for our offense

The blue print for frustrating first innings is there.

Altuve- first pitch swinging. single or out

Yed- hard hit single, altuve thrown out at 3rd.

bregman-strike out while waiting for the perfect pitch in the inside corner

Tucker-single. yed to 3rd

Abreu strike out.
