Hicks should last in CF longer than George. If we are going to extend springer it needs to be with the plan of him going back to RF, so then Ted can play left and you get a better defensive CF.

I promise you the Astros will give Springer 7 years if he accepts 10 M per

Whitley is going to be disgusting
10 pitches, 9 strikes, two strikeouts and a weak groundout to short in his first inning of work

Forrest Whitley will get a second inning against the top of the Mets order. In the third, he sat 95-96 with a four-seamer. He struck out two dudes, one on a 95 mph four-seamer and another on a 93 mph cutter.

Yeah, but how's Tebow doing?
Posted on 2/25/19 at 12:49 pm to Lsuhoohoo
And he’s barely even warmed up yet.

Wow, only one strikeout that inning. Pathetic.
Should have traded him for Realmuto

Ludlow has handled the Springer situation really well. By the time George can actually be a free agent, he'll be a bad age to really get paid (31) and maybe a corner outfielder only (for contenders who would write him bigger checks) at that point. Makes the chances he's an Astros lifer at a good price much better.

He gets a rather lucky three-run triple.
I liked that Dawson swing a lot.

Dawson had some really bad luck. He scalded that ball. First baseman closed his eyes and found gold. Where is tanielu at in our system? I’ve seen him producing some runs so far in these first four games.

He was in AAA last year. I like what I’ve seen from Toro as well
