Rosenthal is a little weasel-arse POS. Hopefully, he’s assigned to the Phillies dugout. The Astros should refuse to talk to him.

honestly, the worst part of this post season is Altuve tanked his trade stuck. This run has been cute and all but winnable it is not

I feel like Astros in 5. But honestly, would not be surprised with a Phillies sweep.

Only certainty we know over the next few days in the DAT:

Weak minded fans from other teams will enter this thread doing their best to make themselves feel good by trashing the Astros and fans.

They will be their boldest before games and anytime the Phillies have the lead.

They will scatter like roaches when you turn a light on every time the Astros have the lead. The biggest roaches will have Cubs, Yankees and Rangers logos by their name.

Troll away roaches. Our DAT family was here before you, and we will be here after you’ve gone.

Be like Dusty, and frick off.

JV is 0-6 in WS starts. Me thinking the odds are really in our favor. He wins both starts, we sweep and wins MVP and CY, and retires to the fatty.

We’ve never won a WS game 1 either. Hopefully those odds swing too.

If we sweep he isn't getting two starts.

Astros sweep, Altuve pulls a 2017 Springer move and breaks out of his slump win MVP.

I expect a first pitch Crawford Box ambush bomb tonight.

Bats are obviously hot right now, but how does the Phillies pitching staff match up with the Mariners and Yankees?

my non-homer take is stros in 6. They get one here, we take two there.

my homer take is it goes to 7 and i am carted out of Tiger stadium with a heart attack as bama beats us in a heart breaker.

Dude.

Bama is going to bury the Tigers.

That's the one that isn't winnable.

Similar.

A really good top 2 guys in Nola and Wheeler, and an underrated #3 in Suarez. Syndergaard is their #4 and he isn't his former self although he's been decent.

Bullpen is good but not great.

Their bullpen is similar to how ours have been in years past, 2 really good guys in Dominguez and Alvarado and the rest is just cobbled together a bit.

I’m not nervous per se, as a whole our lineup isn’t as good in years past but our pitching staff is the best it’s ever been. Hopefully that continues for 4 more games.

Phillies defense will be tested a bit as we put the ball in play more than just about anyone. Just need to limit their HR balls (something we are the best at) and hit a few of our own.

More than ever we need to chase their starters early and get into that bullpen
