Despite the teams best efforts to give the division away in September the good guys still found a way and earned some much needed rest before beginning the daunting challenge of playing baseball at Minute Maid Park. Massive shoutout to the bullpen down the stretch, I believe they posted a sub 1 ERA from 9/20 through the end of the season.

Love this time of the year discussing who will be on the roster, how the pitching staff should line up, and mapping out who the better matchup for the Astros would be.

"A lot of people were wondering what it'll be like if the 'Stros didn't win the division. I guess we'll never know" -Breg

was hoping one would do the trick if I showed the intent for this to last until Saturday. I’m by far the least creative DATter in regards to thread starting so the every day thing was daunting.

Never mind that several of the threads on this board are multi-day, week or month threads.

Did we ever figure out where the Ranger's plan stopped to refuel on the flight to Tampa?

Heyman has an article out that there should be only 2 choices for the Mets job. Craig Counsell or Dusty Baker and Dusty might be the best choice.

I agree. Dusty is the best choice. Please hire him.

He expertly turned a 100-win team into a 90-win team. Props.

Dusty can turn any team around. Some turn good, some turn bad.

I would love Dusty Baker in New York. The entertainment value would be off the charts.

He doesn't like the Houston media pressing him. Can't imagine how pissed he'd be in New York when they mock him for the stupid decisions
