How bad was Altuve in Sundays game?
So bad that he was still swinging at pitches from Saturday on Sunday.
We've seen guys (Springer anyone? Yordan in 2019) go from arse to MVP level from series to series though.

Where the hell were our hitting coaches. It was plain as day they were attacking him with fastballs in and sliders off the plate. 8 at bats and 0 adjustments. Was there seriously nobody to tell him just go stand there and get ahead in the count.

They probably did tell him that... but Altuve likes to swing. No one should ever throw him a first pitch strike.

He saw 25 pitches
He swung at 21 of them
14 of his 21 swings were pitches outside the zone
Took 3 balls and 1 called strike
He was so hot before this. He can get hot just as fast as he cooled off.
Here's to Altuve going out and hitting a lead off homer, like he's done so many times before!

Yankees landed in Houston at about 1 this morning. Hopefully they're hungover and tired this evening.

Let's have a good start tonight and have a 1-0 behind GOATlander please.

Yankees defense was bad in round 1 and too many k’s. If that trend continues, itll be difficult to overcome that.

Curious, will Marwin jump in and join the low-class Yankee fans during Game 3 when they start their "frick altuve" chants?
I doubt it.
Will the moron Yankee fans consider it hypocritical that they have Marwin playing for them, and he was the player that benefitted most of the trash cans?
I, also, doubt it.

Gotta keep the ball in the yard. I think the number was 16 of 19 of the Yankees ALDS came on long balls. And that was with Judge largely held in check.

Are we going to wait until last minute to announce the roster again?
My prediction: Smith in, Dubon out.

You listen here. The Yankees cheating was morally superior ok? It was cheating with distinction. Totally different.

My prediction: Smith in,
Probably. Although I don't see much use for him. The Yankees don't have many lefties. Rizzo and Matt Carpenter and then a couple switch hitters. But Rizzo doesn't have noteworthy L/R splits.

I would rather see Seth Martinez in place of Dubon.

I hope Altuve breaks his slump on goes yard on his first fricking pitch.
Send a message right out of the gate that you shitbag Yankees won't be here long.

this was cancer amongst the entire team. by the 13th Seattle couldn't hit the zone yet everyone was trying to play hero.
Luckily, the M’s were all trying to play hero, too.

Wall street steals from the American people, frick up the housing market and force ESG on us while the humble oil hands of Houston work tirelessly to keep the lights on for the world and get nothing but acts on our industry

Dubon isn’t going anywhere, I would guess. I could see Meyers being left off. Baker loves Dubon.
