He sold out for off speed and got the fastball. That’s why you are taught look fastball and adjust off speed. Not saying I know baseball more than him, just giving an example on why you teach kids that. If you are looking breaking ball and get fastball you are SOL. If you are looking fastball and get off speed, hopefully you can get wood on it and stay alive.

It’s hard not to say let him get the 8th and giles the 9th. I might would let him. 108 pitches. Maybe give him a few hitters and let Giles get 4 outs. Any sign of trouble you obviously pull him.
