Still trying to understand Services reason ing on bringing in Game 3 starter Ray other than lefty vs lefty, even though Ray gives up home runs
I'm flabbergasted because the Astros killed Ray all year long.

From Reddit:
Robbie Ray is the worst pitcher in baseball against the Astros. Scott Servais decided to use him against Yordan Alvarez to close a game.

This is just a sign of manager over managing rather than trusting his guy

Yed would have walked off Sewald just the same.

Game 2 will be VERY interesting. Even with Castillo in game 2, I have confidence we'll be able to hit him and the bullpen on Thursday.
This win is HUGE HUGE HUGE.

LOL at The Athletic using Pete Putila's hiring by the Giants as another reason to bring up a five-year-old scandal, and they even buried the Game 1 story below a pregame story about Maton being out with a broken hand. Clowns.

Y'all remember when Yed killed a baseball, Robbie Ray, and Scott Servais in a single swing?

I didn’t see the article but surely they made sure to chastise the Giants for hiring such a scoundrel??
That will always be the telltale sign that nobody really cared about this bullshite. If they did, Springer, Correa, Hinch would have never found new homes.
I can’t wait until Correa signs with the Yankees, he and Judge have a “heart to heart” and all is good.
fricking hypocrites.
