Seriously, Mitch Meluskey. He hit .300 with a .400 OBP and .890 OPS in 2000 when the entire lineup (and pitching staff) exploded after the move into Enron.

Pudge played for us in 09. He didn't actually hit much but he did hit into like 4,000 double plays.

After review, Pudge actually was the best hitting catcher we had in the last several years. In 93 games he hit .251 with 8HR 15 doubles and 34RBI.

This is the kind of shite that makes part of me want Zunino over a pitcher, but that won't happen.

we better not get rid of him. I know we're only 45 games in, but he's clearly our 2nd best starter.

He's only 27 and I think he could be a very solid #3 or even better possibly. That would be a dumb move I think unless you were getting very good value in the form of major league ready talent

It would really suck if he's hurt right when he's starting to get comfortable offensively again though
