There is no way to eliminate injuries and you are setting a dangerous precedent. If the players don't think it matters, why should anyone else? Why should the networks pay for it? When the playoffs start, why should the 8 seeds or whatever they are doing try?

Its all front running and trying to game the system to gain minuote advantages. In the mean time the game suffers. They should suck it up and play it out. Other wise the game is rugged and it's losing what little integrity it has left..

I kind of agree with him. Seems silly to ask players without a realistic playoff shot to go back through a training camp so they can play 5 games before going back home again.

The NBA should just end the regular season and start back with the playoffs. The 9 seed in each conference is 24-40 and 29-37. They don't deserve playoff spots. Bring back the 16 playoff teams, hold training camps to get them back in game shape, and maybe bring in some G-League teams to play a few exhibition games to warm up before starting the playoff games

"they don't deserve playoff spots" is a bullshite statement. If you watch basketball you'd know that teams like Portland, New Orleans, Sacramento all have easier schedules to finish out the year and played the toughest schedules to start out.

I mean, have you ever watched a game in any sport with two teams who are mathematically eliminated? Or a team that's guaranteed home field/court?

you are ignoring this little fact like they haven't played for 3 months. For players to sit out for 3 months then come back to fill out the string is silly if a player is older or banged up. In a normal year if a guy gets hurt in late Dec and is cleared to play in April with 5 games and his team is out of it, no one would bat an eye if he just sat the rest of the season.
