Also heard on a Cowboys forum, that Graziano (possibly ESPN's NFC East blogger) said that John Mara, head of the competition committee (and owner of the Giants) was the one pushing for punishment of the Skins and Cowboys.



Seems a bit shocking that one of the main rivals of the two teams that were really punished was the one pushing for them to be punished.

Something smells fishy here. I hope they appeal it. I can imagine a compromise being reacher where either they have more years to spread the penalty or it is reduced.
