cap hit only 22 mil year one. Cowboys can restructure contracts and have plenty cap space for now

I’m happy for him and his family. He seems like a good dude.

The really bad contract is Jaylon Smith. Dude was garbage last year and will have 12 million cap hit this year. 7 million in dead money if they cut him.

Vander Esch was godawful too and was basically stealing the couple mil he made.

Smith and VE are good linebackers, but they aren’t Wagner/Leonard good so they aren’t worth anywhere near their contracts.

I think a lot of you are forgetting that the nfl is about to sign some massive TV contracts. The salary cap will go way up. The Cowboys will be fine.

Jerry Jones is a damn fool and a genius.

His Cowboys have been irrelevant for 20 years yet stay at the top of the headlines.

And Jerry is at the forefront of those TV negotiations. He knows exactly what money is coming to him in the next 5-10 years

Schefter just tweeted:

QB that hasn’t done anything in the postseason

He’s 1–2 in the playoffs. 1 loss to Aaron Rodgers with Crosby hitting a 52 yard FG as time expired. 1 loss to the Rams who went on to the super bowl. 1 win was against Russel Wilson.

I don’t get the hate? The guy isn’t that bad. Is he some elite gun slinger like Mahomes or Rodgers? No. Is he a good leader that the team rallies behind? Yes. The dude was their best option giving the circumstances. They could definitely do worse.

Just like Romo. No matter what you do, people hate the Dallas cowboys quarterback. He could cure cancer. Wouldn’t matter.
