Yeah that same team with those RBI’s that finished 5-3 over the dodgers for the season.

Zero. Neither did PCA. They scored all those runs with everyone else!

Now do WAR

Or OBP, or OPS, Walks, Stolen bases ... The Cubs are scoring in many different ways. PCA is Ricky Henderson re-incarnated =)

This starting to feel a lot like 2016. Let's see what happens at the end of July.

Does the cubs doing well piss you off because all you are doing is being a troll. It’s bad enough you have to be an Aggie fan all year but this is sad

Was cold and ideal pitching conditions.

I thought Tuesday the wind pushed back in 2 or 3 balls that would have been home runs and we hit a bunch of rockets that found gloves instead of grass. There was some of that but to a lesser extent Monday. Wednesday I actually thought the wind blowing in served us better than the Rockies, we did not hit many balls hard and the wind kept 2 or 3 of theirs in the park.

I'm pretty blown away by their season thus far. Yeah, the division is not great but St. Louis is apparently very solid. Most refreshing thing for me is how aggressive they've been on the bases with that team speed. Was always kinda Counsell's thing.

This thread has motivated me to change the avatar until the inevitable late season swoon

Me too, I always thought Counsell was a great hire - I think last year was a feeling out process for him, getting to know the organization, personnel, etc. and I think he was heavily involved in personnel decisions this year, changed some of the coaches and infrastructure and emphasized baserunning, basically putting his stamp on the team and the organization. Also getting Tucker and PCA being what no one could have expected helped greatly.

I'm still not buying them, but they sure have had a good stretch.

Yeah, they’ve over achieved. Regression is coming. That roster is terrible.

They should be selling. Gray, helsley, Arenado, fedde, etc

Get value while playing decent ball, regression of pitching staff and oen is coming. Go into deadline with leverage, not begging people to take ur players.

And teams are desperate for starters, people would pay a nice price for Sonny to be their #2
