St Jude won in 93, and 95 and were Runner up in 96 and 99.

St George won in 97. That team is regarded as the best in CSAL history. Gross

I agree that they are the best CSAL team ever, but they skipped the Elite 8 tournament to play in a tournament in New Orleans. (I believe)

Drives me crazy that I can't find the results from the 2011 championship.

1980-1981 I believe the CHS Baby Bears(maybe unbeaten? 1 Loss max), followed by St Aloysius A Team(even their B team won a few games despite near cellar finish), St George, St Thomas Moore and OLOM tied at 500..then rest with 1, 2, or 3 Ws.

Good stuff. Did they have the Elite 8 Tournament back then?

Don't believe so, just a few in-season four team tourneys if I recall correctly.

Baby Bears were led by unofficial yet runaway league MVP Roy Eudy Jr(was also the #2 ranked US Tennis player at that age to Aaron Krickstein), followed by probably second best player St Aloysius Michael Carleton(son of LSU Professor Mark Carleton)..both had the size and finishing skill sets of a good 16 yr old's game at age 14..

Yep. I took a few of his classes at LSU. Great La historian. Very well educated man(BA
@ Yale/ MA & PhD at Stanford)..

Loved his Civil War class.

I think he was from Minnesota. He ended up in Louisiana because he said politics was boring everywhere else.
