Nice job taking the quote out of context.

Here's everything CC said
quote:

"Kurt Warner came from bagging groceries, same faith level as Tim Tebow. The thing about Tebow is, he's really bad in the games, he has been bad in practice but he hasn't been discouraged and his teammates see that. Tebow has never failed in his life. So he doesn't have pictures of himself failing. His teammates see that and they capture that.

Context doesn't really change it.

I guess no one should ever post any pic, video, or gif of anything where anyone gets injured. Good idea.

He was still 19-6 against Auburn. Just like Alabama has won three of the last four. Just like Saban is 2-1 against Chizik. Just like he's 2-0 in JHS.

$5 says the OP is under 15 years old and never played a down of football in his/her life.

The 19-6 part. Or the three of the last four part. Maybe the 42-14 part?

I don't hate Tebow. I've been amazed at what he's done in the NFL and I've been rooting for him. Even when he was at Florida I never hated Tebow.

What I hated was the hyperbole and treatment from the media. To say things like "he has never failed in his life." The dude played poorly, threw picks and got destroyed in the biggest game of his life.

Btw, if you want to see a running back quit foreal, watch the 09 Iron Bowl. This whole thread just needs to be deleted before it turns into a flame fest.

He was already retiring. I'm sure he was fine with that lose in '83, after 9 straight wins before that season.

Seriously. He really seems about as genuine as one could be. I guess he makes people feel bad about their own lives or something. I'm a fan. Don't tell anyone.
