DJ is better than Altuve in every way. Gleyber just made 23 and is widely regarded as one of the brightest young stars in baseball. Regularly draw comparisons to some of the greatest players ever.

This is a comically bad take

TIL that you can only be angry at someone’s actions if you know them personally.

None to the extent of the Astros, and the other teams that do have some evidence of cheating all have common denominators. The same people involved in the 2017 cheating with Astros
Do you think that it's possible (and I know that this is going to sound strange) that they could have cheated BEFORE they came to the Astros?

Crane is a pussy.

Those are 3 really solid positions for the Yankees. Paying Correa or Bregman over Torres and Urshela is debatable at best. Altuve over DJ is absolutely laughable
Holy shite

I would actually take DJ over Altuve

Ever heard of home/away splits?
Y’all cling to this like stink on shite.
If a player has 500 ABs in a season, let’s assume half of those are at home. Out of the 250 home ABs, how many times was a player tipped off? Some of them...maybe never. Others, who knows? Was it once a game? Out of the 3-5 ABs a game, do the trash cans bang for every damn pitch? No, they don’t.
Of the tipped pitches, how many are swung at? If you get 4 tipped pitches a game, the odds are high that it’s a ball, a foul, a swing and miss, or an out.
Fact is, unless a player was buzzed constantly or heard trash cans all night, it’s not going to have a major impact on stats.
With that said, in a 7 game World Series, a tight ALCS or ALDS, it WILL have a difference. Those games are decided by a couple of key situations. One clutch hit or Home run swings an entire series.
If you think this is JUST a numbers thing, then you don’t know much about the depth of stats and the manipulation of numbers.

Man, this is just eating you alive inside, it seems. A moth to a flame when you see a thread that concerns the Astros.

This has been another defense mechanism of many on here. If engaged in intelligent discussion regarding this topic. You know better. I’m a baseball fan, should I not care?

I've attempted this. It's obvious that we aren't going to change each other's minds. It's certainly not a defense mechanism. You tend to type out very lengthy, time consuming posts that all say the same thing.

So be it. Agree to disagree. Nothing wrong with that.

Many fans on here use it as such. The ignorant ones respond about the same as Patriots fans.

It’s an interesting topic. In my opinion, it’s ignorant to point to Home/Road splits and be done with it. This situation is much more complex.
People relate this to steroids and instantly reference McGwire, Bonds, Sosa, Palmeiro. They forget that the Mitchell Report also implicated Jack Cust, Tim Laker, Fernando Vina, FP Santangelo, etc. Once again, a complex situation.

I think the yankees hat is clouding your ability to see clearly. Altuves walk off says hi.
ETA: your take here may be the worst I’ve seen. You clearly watch 5 games a year.
9 years for both lets look at 162 game averages:
Altuve: 17 homers, 70 rbis, 33 steals, .315 average, 0.827 OPS
DJ: 11 homers, 66 rbis, 12 steals, .302 average, 0.776 OPS
One guy is clearly better in every way and it isn't DJ [and Altuve is 2 years younger also].
