Yea, but all major programs have all of those things, so the only other way to get better is to stretch the rules, the truth, and their pocket books sometimes.

it'll definitely put a damper on the showdown at Jerry World.

They do. Not being a homer. But the recent allegations against Kiffin while ignoring UT (Kiffin was under their watch and using their phones to make those calls) is out the box. It should be both UT FB and Kiffin.

We've mastered snitching, brah. There's a reason we never have major violations in football.

An SEC school wouldn’t be a shocker and the NCAA would never want to rock the Nike cash boat at Oregon. Maybe Texas had a lot of trouble holding onto assistant coaches for a reason.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get a nasty letter before long. We self imposed recruiting caps and completely disregarded them...doesn't look like we care too much.

I wonder if it's related to that big news story that Bill Greene (Recruiting Analyst for Scout) alluded to a little while ago?
quote:

There is a major news outlet that is on the verge of publishing a report that will blow the lid off a major D-I program, and not a school many would suspect................ They are inches away from having all they need to go on it. I would expect something before summer and it will be a bombshell, with names-dates-amounts. This won't be a message board blog, but rather, a huge news story. But to publish something like that, you better have your facts right. I think they've got it...............

Penn State/Nebraska would be the biggest shock and the only two top 10-12 program that I wouldn't suspect.

I don't think the average person would think Oregon... but Notre Dame's name being raised is also very provocative

Esp since they have a special place in American culture... love them or hate them

And btw... how to characterize Notre Dame at this point in their history? Overall they are one of the top programs in history.... but recently calling them top 25 seems pretty generous

I wonder if being put on probation would give NBC an out on that tv contract. Their ratings have sucked bs the big 10/12 and sec.

What about Michigan? Wouldn't surprise me in th least if we found out more on rich rod

LINK

Also being discussed here on TD LINK

You think this was the news that Cowherd was talking about? Is there one school that stands out above the rest?

Knowing how Cowterd totally blows these things and clearly overstates EVERYTHING he hears - this could be it...
