Nobody cared that he wasn't really that great of a CB

Dude is more if a matador tackler than Prime Time ever was. Diggs doesn’t even make contact on most of his attempts. He was the same in college. Go back and watch the 2019 LSU Bama game. Clyde ran through him like he wasn’t even there because he was trying to “strip “ the ball.

And most of his interceptions were very lucky because they were really bad throws.

I’m sure saban is pretty embarased right now!

Nope. Saban is counting his profits from this year.
He may have a side bet on which game him more dollars:

Profits from his car dealerships in Florida
Profits from his car dealerships in Alabama
Profits from his appearing in advertisements
Profits from his being a talking head on TV and at meetings.

I wonder if he gets kickbacks from Jimmy Sexton for leads to signees.

The year he got all the interceptions was odd.

Int's by year 3, "11", 3, 1, 2, 0

Other than that year he wasn't very good and got beat all the time, he was for sure never the same after knee surgery.

The year after his interception season he got hurt in the second game. In the first game he played great. The knee injury killed him.

The year after his 11 interception season, he went back to the Pro Bowl, then signed the massive deal in the off season. Tore his knee up in practice soon after.

Dallas is so big, he could be overlooked in a crowd.
Green Bay may notice his when he misbehaves, er, make that if he misbehaves.

He got fired on his day off?

After the game he asked if he could stay with his family in DC for Christmas, they told him no. He skipped the return flight to Dallas.
