if you havent played tennis before, no you arent going to win any games.
the disparity between college tennis players is huge though. if youre a top junior player in your state, you can take down a ton of women college players

No way. I played high school and now play club level tennis. I MIGHT could win a point or two if my game was on that day.

If you didn't play college tennis, most men couldn't beat the upper tier college women.

If you won 1 or 2 points per set, you would be lucky. You cannot appreciate how hard and consistently they hit their ground strokes and serves. I was a decent recreational player years ago when I had the opportunity to see Roddick and Agassi play a charity match. Now they are obviously hitting it harder than the ladies, but if the ladies hit it even half as hard - yikes. I have no idea how they returned serves. The ball was on them in a micro second.

Not a chance. How many people on here grew up eating out of a garbage dump in Manila? He is tougher than any person you have ever met. And quicker and punches so much harder.

He would destroy almost everyone on this board. But there are a few people who would take him...there are MMA guys that post here. Manny couldn't do anything against a guy with ground skills.

i was at that match also but you cannot compare men with women in this sport. the men's pace is so much harder than the women's.
this hypothetical is assuming you are actually a good tennis player. good as in you could play college level tennis. you might not win a game or even a point when she is serving but you could pull off a game on your own serve. this female is a pro and not necessarily serena

That is certainly possible, but he would only have a second or two to knock them out before they got their hands on him. Once they did, Manny would be in a tough spot. I agree with you that almost everyone on here that thinks they would have a shot against Manny is delusional...almost everyone. I just think there are a very select few that actually do.
