One game? Yeah I think so. I would just go for winners on every shot. String a few together and youve got one game. They do make errors too by the way.
lol ura fricking retard. you realize they only make errors cus theyre swinging as hard as humanly possible and aiming their shots right?

OT: I could beat a Federer-Djokovic in straight sets by myself and then go home with their girlfriends
IRL: I'd get pwned by any professional, male or female

Well I'm sure the ones that could take Manny wouldn't mind you giving out their usernames. I'd like to buy each one a six pack. I'll send it wherever they want.
Just so I understand you...You are of the opinion that only a UFC champion that outweighs Manny by 70 pounds would be able to defeat Manny is a street fight? Perhaps someone close to Jon Jones' level of skill and size would suffice?
Boxing is a great sport, but even guys like Manny don't want any part of UFC fighters in a fight where they could take it to the ground.

Whatever. Set it up. I've always wanted to meet Maria anyway. I wouldn't try to construct any points; just go for winners and attack. They're not fricking perfect. They make errors sometimes too.

You're a fricking joke. I'm not even gonna read this thread

No frickin way unless she was injured and the 299th ranked player in the world.

If you don't play much, no way. Amy Frazier, who got up to around 15 in the world, went to my high school. I was one of the top guys there and could have maybe got a game or two on a good day. I did hang tough with some mid-level DI chicks, though.

The big difference was that LSU was super strong in NCAA tennis back then.
lsu was a top 10 team when i came to college

I went to the walk on tryouts and the guy who was #1 on the state had just finished trying out and was invited to the practice squad. I skipped the tryout and went to Murphy's. Haha.
haha thats awesome

My read of the OP was that we were talking about the top women pros and not just someone on the Tour.
yea i kinda changed it to just a woman on tour. plenty of ranked women arent that big and arent hitting the serve 120mph+.

I practiced against a woman who made a couple of small pro tourneys and was 8 years removed. At 16, I was lucky to get 2 games.
big difference between a college player and a top 6-8 ranked 16 yr old in LA.

Fair enough...the number of people I was thinking that would have a chance is very, very small. /Endthreadhijack

I could win a game against Maria Sharapova
If she had one of those off games with 4 double faults
She wouldn't double fault trying to ace an amateur, she would be serving easy soft lobs (by professional standards) figuring that if you actually did return she'd drive you off the court anyway. And she'd still get aces that way.

I'm a pretty good 4.0, average first serve around 120-125 mph. If I was hitting the corners with my first serve I MIGHT be able to win one game in two sets off the top women. I wouldn't have a huge problem returning their serve but they would out rally me 98% of the time. I really don't think I could ever win a game that they were serving

A top 1-2 male in LA 16 year old can compete with the LSU women. I've seen it. Most male juniors playing the top of the southern circuit definitely can and probably win. But, competing against the top 100 women in the world...not many stand a chance. They practice 6 days a week and rip it.

Not one of them maybe a top 120 player. But I'm a 3.5-4.0 level

And we beat Ryan Harrison (next great hope american tennis) and his little bro christian harrison in doubles when I was 14. His little bro was like 8 but a beast

Posted by Jones quote: I was a top-level state player as a Junior. Got out of state college scholarship offers but elected to attend LSU (who was #1 in the NCAA at the time and above my level) same for me. how high were you ranked in LA? you dont think you could win a game at that time? just one while serving?
Jones...I didn't know you played. Same here.
