I was just messing around with that comment. It wasn't serious.

Griner could probably score pretty easily once she got into the paint just due to sheer height and length, but how is she going to get there? She has to take the ball out up top and I doubt she could even take four coordinated dribbles towards the basket with tight defense on her without picking up the ball or losing it, much less drive on a decently in-shape and quick male. She's definitely not gonna be able to post up and back down anybody.

And why size ball are we using? Bc with a girls ball I could just spread it out and shoot 25 footers. With a guys ball she would struggle to handle and shoot

The answer is almost none of you.

Most of you couldn't beat her unless most of you could beat a marginally-good talented guy that tall with that wingspan.

Everyone is posting in her as if she is just a tall girl...She doesn't play like a girl and exhibits strong evidence in her physical appearance, voice and play that she could have been born with both sex organs and the parents chose a sex - while the person retains male hormones (and needs hormone therapy through puberty) or she could have Androgen Insensitivity Syndrome with male DNA.

Or she could simply be a girl - who has always been a girl - who doesn't play like any girl in the history of women playing basketball.

You people are crazy if you think that and obviously don't know much about playing basketball.

yeah...it's not like she will be able to sit under the goal the whole time. her game isn't from the top of the key. my best skill is my quickness which I think is one of the better skills to have in a one-on-one game.

None of you tards are 6'8 and she is in much better shape than you. You couldn't make shots in high school, what makes you think you will make them playing against her?

There are other good female basketball players that have good ball skills, quickness and shooting skills that would be a tougher match up in one on one. Griner is not suited for that type of game.

just b/c she's a dominant defensive player in WCB doesn't mean she can gaurd a male with any type of basketball experience.
how the hell would she score?

Dumbass.

I'm 6'4 and played college ball on scholarship. She wouldn't block a single shot of mine and couldn't stay in front of me. Meanwhile, she wouldn't be able to get from the top of the key down to the post very often.

I just don't get how she's quick enough to get around a decently quick male. Once you check the ball to her outside the 3 point line, just get as close to her ugly arse as you can possibly stand. No way is that sasquatch quick enough to dribble around a decently quick defender.

Exactly, somebody tell me how she's going to score starting from the top of the key? People are acting like she would grab every rebound just cause she's tall as if they've never heard of boxing out.

No. I played at a D-2 school that has won a couple of D-2 national titles and had plenty of guys leave to go play pro over seas.

ETA: that isn't even the important part, as someone with good basketball skills and decent quickness would have a huge advantage in one on one. Griner isn't the type of player that does well in that format.

Why can't you name the said D-2 school? Maybe you are the exception but 95% of the out of shape morons on here can't beat this girl/man.

I could, but I don't want to. Already too much personal info on me posted here.

I don't know the percentages and certainly there are some that think they can that can not. However, she isn't a one-on-one player. She would have more success just playing in a pick up game with dudes than trying to win one on one match ups.
