I have guarded a 6'7 girl and she was easy, but she sucked and always bought the ball down, she also wasn't very good using her body on defense. But she still started for a top 5 girls Bball program.

not the same as Brittney Griner. s/he's on a whole different level of good. i don't think y'all realize what you're getting into here because you have no chance at doing anything inside against her one-on-one, so you'd be relying on a jumper. meanwhile, she just going to kick arse on the inside and maybe throw in a jumper or two.

I know, I am 6'4 and a good player. Idk what I could do. I have guarded 6'8 guys also before, and I could score here and there. I would be physical with her and use my body and the goal to create space. On defense I would use my quickness to piss her off. It would depend on her ball handling skills.

i could see that happening then. but 6'0'' homie that thinks he can beat her giving up a full foot of wingspan has a few balls right back in his face coming...and i'm not talking about the ones between brittney's legs

shite no, and I doubt anyone else could

6'8 is still tall enough to swat most shots

Just for comparison, Simone Augustus used to own dudes who played high school ball. ,

If I'm missing jump shots and have to drive and finish around the rim, she's probably got too much height and length on me for me to get a good shot off around the basket.

Not to mention having little chance at an offensive board. She'll bring it down low all day and if she misses chances are you have little chance for defensive boards as well.

Especially if, like the OP, is only 6'.

I'm 6'3" with a 6'11" wingspan and was a pretty good baller back in the day but height has its advantages.

Maybe ball boys. Or one time, But I want to see a testimonial from a guy who has seen her take a decent highschool player to the woodshed.

I haven't actually played basketball since 7th or 8th grade, but as a man I think that I could beat her pretty easily.

It isn't like it is impossible for a short person to score giving up 4 inches.

I'm almost 6'5", and if I was in shape I'd be down at like 215, so she doesn't have that much of an advantage down low. I guarantee you if I was in shape I'd take her to the rack.

I'm pretty long and if I was 22 again (my prime) I think I could have a chance. I had a good all around game.

Still though, don't think it would have been easy.

Did you listen to "her" post game interview? She has a deeper voice than most D1 guys!
