It's impossible to tell with such a huge void under center.

I thought Caleb was going to be really good. Maybe he'll improve a lot but right now it looks like the Bears are going to regret another QB draft choice.

Or could’ve just kept Fields and traded #1 for a HUUUGE haul.

This is probably the main thing, for whatever reason they were sold on taking Williams #1 overall for months and refused to even discuss trading the pick.

I am very confident the Raiders would have traded a LOT to get #1 and take JD5.

Then you would have had the same offense as basically Washington with Kingsbury not backing out and still paired with JD5. Kliff needs more love for Redskins offense being top 5 and developing another good young QB though.

It’s impossible to tell or he has better weapons? It’s either one or the other

It's impossible for any of those WRs in Chicago to put up any numbers with such horrid QB play.

Their stats are pretty much what you’d expect from middling receivers.

So Williams play has been equal to or better than Daniels?

The Bears have been around 100+ years and have still never had a 4k yard passing season

Keenan Allen had a 100+ reception and 1200+ yard season LAST YEAR and was a pro
Bowler

DJ Moore was at 96 receptions and 1360 yards LAST YEAR

Terry Mclauren has never gotten close to any of those numbers in his entire career

The bears also have Dj Swift who was a 1000 yard rusher last year and Cole Kmet at TE who
Is a top 10 tight end

So yes. The Bears easily outweigh the redskins in offensive fire power. To even try and argue otherwise is hilarious.

The bears were 7-10 last year with a guy who averaged 150 pass yards a game and have gotten worse with Caleb Williams.

It hasn't, but it has been equal to or better than the play of the other rookies like Nix and Maye.

I know this board hates Caleb, but he hasn't been as horrid as he has been made out to be. The Bears are just a disaster on all levels of the organization.

He’s been hurt all year and is 32

McLaren was playing with the likes of Sam Howell. I’m fine with saying DJ Moore is marginally better than him

And Daniels has eckler

You still haven’t convinced me tbh. Many on this board would have you believe this years bears are a kin to the greatest show on turf minus the qb.

Again, he may stink, but yall act like it’s over and he hasn’t even finished him rookie season

He played well for short period of games earlier in the season but overall, he has not been good. It's obvious the more game film teams got on him, the better they became at attacking his weaknesses. It's why he has looked so lost in the second half of the season. The Seahawks blitzed him relentlessly tonight. He had no answer because his own staff doesn't trust his mental grasp of the offense.

I'm in total agreement though. It's the Bears organization in general that is source of the issues. It's a poorly run organization that makes terrible decisions over & over again.

Dude. Williams has always been a head case. He is all about himself. I see zero leadership qualities.

What? Blitz every play because the o line can’t block and the play calling sucks? They’re a terrible football team, one player isnt changing that, maybe Mahomes, Allen, or Lamar. MAYBE they could go .500 with one of those guys

If you’ve followed Keenan Allen’s career you’d know he always gets injured doesn’t mean he’s not elite

Ekeler was washed last year which is why the chargers dumped him. Could only Muster 600 rush yards.

I’m not even arguing that Caleb Williams is bad. It’s his rookie year and he plays for
A trash organization. But he was 100% given
A better roster than Jayden Daniels was at least from an offensive standpoint. Even on the defense side, the redskins gave the bears their best defensive player last year

My point is there isn’t an argument to be made that Daniels has better weapons than Williams.
Most people can’t name any of the other WRs besides terry yet everyone knows all 3 of the bears top receivers

Disagree. Certainly not materially so

Yet you try to paint Swift as some elite RB, who’s never been a bell cow back in his career. If you just want to say Williams sucks, just say it. Don’t try to spin some bullshite as backup

Lol list out all 3 top WRs, TE, And RBs from both teams.

Not a single person would prefer Jayden Daniels offensive pieces over Williams.

OL might be a different story but I cant name a single OL from either team so I won’t argue that

My only comment about swift was “he rushed for 1000 yards last year”. Where did I say he was elite? He’s better than Ekeler today. That’s all I stated

Again I’m not putting myself with your other arguments with posters about Caleb Williams being bad. I was just responding to your comment trying to pretend Williams doesn’t have great weapons
