Comparing USA major team sports number of shots / plays / hits per game with soccer

Per game averages for both teams combined (stats from Google searches/AI):
NBA (48 minutes of play) - 178 to 180 field goal attempts per game (47% to 48% are made).
NFL (60 minutes of play) - 120 to 130 offensive plays per game (8 to 9 are TDs and FGs).
Major League Baseball (avg length 2 hr 40 min) - 65 to 70 pitches are put into play per game (16 to 17 base hits with 10% to 12% of those being Home Runs).
NHL (60 minutes of play) - 55 to 60 shots on goal per game (9% to 10% are made).
Professional football/soccer (90 minutes of play) - 24 to 28 total shots (8 to 10 on target) with 10% to 12% made per match.
Overall maximum average numbers that could affect scoring:
NBA - 180 (every 16 seconds of game time)
NFL - 130 (every 28 seconds of game time)
NHL - 60 (every 60 seconds of game/actual time)
MLB - 70 (every 2 minutes 17 seconds of actual time)
Soccer - 28 (every 3 minutes 13 seconds of match/actual time)
Soccer has the longest time between potential scoring plays, but each goal made or goal attempt defended is more important with an average of only 2.5 to 3 goals scored per match.

It's been so illuminating to me to see the reactions of people like this.
Here's the bottom line: soccer is soccer. It's not the best the sport by far. The World Cup is awesome, and it's in America right now. That's a big fricking deal. Enjoy it because it'll be over soon.

Not sure how you figured this. The fact that the clock stops in football makes this irrelevant.

Watching football players do absolutely fricking nothing is more entertaining than watching actual soccer.
