Nola can only pitch one game, and with the inconsistencies of the bullpen anything can happen at this point. Just look at Friday night against A&M. Nola was virtually unhittable and leaves with a 4-0 lead and it gets blown in the 9th.

Cajun bullpen over last 8 games

31 innings
24 earned runs

Pretty sure they will be facing better line ups in post season.

I still like LSU's chances if they have to play ULL in regional or super. I would rather ULL in super than have to go to another power conference team. LSU threw Cody Glenn that day and he can't even get midweek innings at this point.

Just admit it, you have nothing.

Your Cajuns can't beat Nola. Hellooooo Losers bracket!

You will need your bullpen. Best Wishes

Odds are strong ULL doesn't beat NOLA. They should save their ace (don't remember name) for game 2 and work that way.

It could go either way.

point is, just looking at RPIs of opponents, LSU played no one at all in preseason. I'd give ULL the edge in if both can't host.

Okay I really don't mean to be a dick, because i don't root against ULL and i'm from the area, but this kind of shite gets annoying. Yes of course the dick LSU fans will shite on you. But the second response of every ULL thread is similar to yours. Almost like you're welcoming what you constantly say you hate.

Just thought I'd share that.

Well this is a LSU message board. I gotta say though... this is the first year I've visited this board and the general community isn't as bad as I thought it was. Sure there are a few on here that seem to shite on UL at any opportunity but I find most are fairly tolerant.
If any of you visit Cajun message board then you would see the same thing... a couple LSU bashing numbnuts that will jump at any opportunity and then the rest that are tolerant as well.

For asking if someone could match Nola?

Or was it for posting the inconvenient truth about the Cajun bullpen?

The truth is, the Cajuns can not afford to play in the loser bracket with the bullpen they have right now. Tony Robichaux would tell you the same thing.

I call BS on the comment "the rest are tolerant". I grew up in Lafayette & learned a long time ago the depth of the hate there for LSU. Right or wrong, regardless of reasons, those feelings are still there amongst the majority of ULL fans. There is a reason why Skip had LSU quit playing ULL for several yrs, in both baseball & softball. To my knowledge, that's never happened before and the tulane games under Jones used to just as intense.ULL fans just carried it to a different level.ULL has the better team this yr, on paper & on the field, but I'll take LSU's program any day of the wk.

OK. I disagree. I am willing to bet, both statistically and quantitatively, there are more Tiger fans in Lafayette than there are Cajun fans in Baton Rouge. I would also bet that most of the "focus" on attitudes and impressions come from the most vocal minority, which in both cities happen to be the die hard haters.

Personally, I know a vast majority of UL fans that are not "die hard haters". You just don't hear them vocalizing about how much they don't hate LSU.

Loud minority trumps quiet majority on the impression stand point. I've had bad experiences with LSU fans in the past. I've also had good ones but I find I have to think harder to remember all the good ones than I do the bad ones and I can honestly say the good and/or non-eventful experienced far outnumber the bad.

Which one?

The one who pitched early in the season?

Or is it the Millhorn who has given up almost 1 earned run per inning pitched in his last 4 appearances (14 innings 12 ER)?

I'm not one of those. The Cajuns deserve to be proud. Best of luck against everyone except LSU...
