I agree completely.
I think OU is playing as well as anyone right now not named Alabama, but OU lost two games so they don’t deserve to be in the playoff discussion.
The conversation HAS to be about who are the four teams that have earned the right to the four playoff spots.

I'm not saying BYU should be in the playoff, but having the best record in college football and not being in the top 10 is ridiculous. They should absolutely be ahead of Miami

I guarantee you had no issue with the rankings in week 3 when Bama was still in the top 5, when they had played 0 games and all the Big 12/ACC had played 2.

on 11/25/20 at 5:35 pm to ragincajun03I know a lot of sick people are hoping for this, but a rumor is gaining steam that OSU had a large Covid outbreak and may not be able to play the next couple of weeks
I am surprised we didn't expand the playoffs this year to account for the crapshoot. The NFL and our local high school league did this year to account for variable. I don't like comparing complete resumes to incomplete but you have to do your best. Ohio State is a lock for the playoffs but it would be great to see 12-16 teams make it in times of uncertainty. Let's get the playoffs started now and let them play it out.

I’m not hoping for large outbreaks anywhere. I hate seeing people suffer and want healthy people and a healthy economy.
That said, if you don’t play at least 8, you shouldn’t be in the playoff.
