Colts Offensive Scheme

Shouldn't it raise flags in the front office when your supposedly a power running scheme but you've yet to have a 100 yard rusher and your feature back is averaging 3.1 ypc.
Sure they're 4-2 but two of these wins have come from luck winning it in the end, another w being Jacksonville. The only game this scheme has worked for them was San Fran and you could argue it was because of the 49ers ineptness on offense.
If luck is having to continuously win it for them late why wouldn't they just put the game in his hands earlier?

The FO has the right idea: to maintain possession as long as possible to keep guys like Manning, Brady, and Rivers on the sideline.
They just need a better back.

I completely agree. They gave up a good bit for Richardson who managed a whole 11 yards on 4 carries last night. Luck is a damn superstar; let him throw the ball more.

Check yo self fool, he wound up with 40 yds on 10 carries

Losing Bradshaw hurt them a lot. Brown looks like their best RB right now. Trent will get it going eventually

Trent hasnt "got going" in his entire career
Hes an average NFL running back

Raising his avg YPC with the colts.

I don't understand your post. The colts are as much a power running team as everyone else in the league. They don't run the ball exponentially more than anyone else.
Did you even watch the game last night? Dropped passes and the failure to get san diegos offense off the field is why Indy lost.

Dude doesnt really know what he is talking about...
Its not like they ran the ball a whole bunch. 17 times? You have to run the ball at least some.
Luck threw the ball 30 times.
The bottom line is

Nice passive-aggressive flame

Richardson was in the top 4 in rushing TDs last year behind an aweful O-line against defenses who stacked the box becuase there was no passing game.
He certainly hasnt gotten off to an explosive start in Indy, but he no doubt looked better last night and more comfortable with the line.
Also, he only got 10 touches, most of which were basic dive plays so I don't know what all of you were expecting, hard for a RB to make a big impact on those limited numbers.
He's going to keep getting better.

I bet 40 bucks on that game.

189 pass attempts ranks 23 in the league. 168 rush attempts ranks 11 in the league. Keep in mind two comebacks against the raiders and Seahawks. Two failed comeback attempts with the dolphins and chargers. Then there is San Fran which he attempted less than 30 passes. I'm on mobile right not can't pull up everything I'd like. Just seems to me when you draft a guy number one overall who is supposed to be the next Peyton manning, it isn't for him to manage games.

Yeah looks like they are overcorrecting for his big turnover numbers last year, which is silly because they still went 10-6 with him trying to settle into being an NFL QB

That's an error on my part I thought the colts had scored later. Still only 23 pass attempts that game.

How good is the Colts' offensive line?

Their line is above average
Posted on 10/15/13 at 12:30 pm to CrimsonTradition
It was one of the leagues worst last year

And they paid Cherilus a ton to help upgrade that line.
