John Meredith, who will indeed now go to IMG reportedly.

We'll see what the local judge has to say about that.

Aren’t they still running the veer?
I thought St. Paul’s was mentioned on here when Doug Nuss took the Saints job

I can tell you for a fact he was. But Curtis is quite satisfied with London Padget now. He's starting for his 2nd year and will only be a junior.

His best bet is to have his mom sign over and make the dad have primary custody. Then he could move where his dad is and enroll...but hesr this, his dad has to live in the district of the school he enrolled in.
I say this because, STM had a basketball player ruled ineligible for his sophomore year. Family legit moved to Lafayette from Texas, but bought a home outside of STM zone, not worrying about it thinking since entire family and dad's work moved, that there would be any restrictions.

La it is 45 day wait on change of custody and there are still some stipulations

What is the STM zone? I haven’t heard of any zones for private schools?

quote:The home zone for private/select schools is considered the zone of the closest traditional public HS. For STM up to this coming year it would be the zone for Ovey Comeaux, which is just on the other side of Ambassador from STM. If I'm not mistaken with Comeaux closing STM's new zone will be the Southside zone.

I did it in ~2021 for my daughter to switch between 2 private schools in Louisiana..well, we made me domicile (but not sure thats the same as custody). Spoke w both ADs before and both were fine with the signed court document. If not, she would have stayed
Covid year, school was finished at home for second half anyway. Not D1 athlete, but kept her eligible for her sport.
Who cares? I don't understand, especially private schools. Makes no sense to me. Even if a family were to move dor their child to play sports elsewhere, why does that bother others?

Because of all the ones that violate those loopholes. Heck custody issues took more than half of my hs eligibility from me.

But still, why do people care where my son goes to school and plays? Some kid leaves brother Martin, and goes to Curtis........why does that concern any human besides their parents? Or is leave Curtis and wanna go back to my local public school....so what?
