I believe this course will host a PGA championship in a few years as well

Nothing as of yet scheduled there. That said, it's close to the future home of the PGA - maybe that's what you're thinking of?

LOL, true. I cannot afford the $25,000 initiation and $1000/month dues.

I am still pretty damn excited. Always would go when held at original Four Seasons, but never went South to the landfill.

I actually liked the Four Seasons course - got to play it once. Saw Pat Summerall in the locker room drunk as a badger after my round playing cards with some other guys...this was AFTER his liver transplant.

Pretty sure Craig Ranch is the temp home (5 years) and then everything will move to PGA courses in Frisco (2027).

They are building 2 courses by the new PGA headquarters and the PGA Championship will be played there at some point.

Four Seasons was nice and they were setup pretty nice for vendors and sponsors.

Was at a vendor event (Unisys) about 15 years ago and we were able to play the course a few days before the Byron. We were the actual last group to play before it closed for the tournament. All the grandstands were up and it is amazing how much that messes up your approaches to the greens. I may have bounced a few shots off metal bleachers.

Trinity Forest had no business hosting a PGA tournament

It’s an awesome course. It just want close enough to bring out fans.

Also sucked that the PGA Tour didn’t set up the course the way it should have been.

The new course being built in Frisco is going to hold the PGA Championship. TPC Craig Ranch is not.

It's a cool design but they put it in a shithole area with terrible supporting infrastructure. There were a ton of doubts from the outset.
