Sure it does. There is just no demand for what you do, and your skill level

The real tragedy is thinking college football was pure to begin with.

At least it's out in the open now.

The unrestricted free agency is the issue.

Disagreeing with the way NIL is being handled isn't hating capitalism. If you want college athletes to be paid for playing a sport then let's call them what they are, professional athletes. Then let's make them pay for their tuition and room and board like everyone else on campus. That's capitalism. Giving people shite for free and then not demanding any commitment from them is the antithesis of capitalism and that's what's happening with the combination of NIL and the transfer portal.

There are a lot of commies on TD and many of them don't even know they're commies.

That's right and my job don't give me free food and housing while educating me for free either. Maybe they should pay their tuition since they are employees now.

No, they can't. That's their way of saying that they lack the skills and intelligence to debate ideas. They think they're being funny but people with brains recognize these people and see them for what they are, dumbasses. We can thank our public education system for this.

Because your skills are not in demand in whatever field you are working in. That is no ones fault but your own

Nobody is making anyone pay for anything.

The players services are in demand.

And it’s simply no longer illegal for a player to make money and remain eligible to be an ncaa athlete.

This is exactly correct, in my opinion. Personally, I don't really have any issue with an outside agency paying these players. Hell, it's been going on behind the scenes for years anyway. I do have a big issue with the players not being held to any commitments at the schools. The transfer portal is a much bigger issue to me than NIL. With the right rules in place, they could both exist but it's the wild west right now. As with most things though, it will only make the rich richer. We can see that now with boosters at schools like Texas offering their entire O-Line $50K salaries. This will be the new norm. We will still see the same teams at the top.

I’m guessing millions of people don’t watch you do your job on tv and 100,000 people don’t watch you do it in person.

You know NIL deals are with third parties, right?

Maybe you should look for a job that does.
Should we blame you if you find someone willing to give you that deal?
