Watching College Baseball is an Urban myth.

College is terrible, especially now since the bats/balls suck.

College. I’ll watch any college baseball game. I just love college baseball. I think people that like college baseball also like high school baseball and it’s just something about college and high school ball that is just appealing to me. It’s just one of those cheap, small town things that I like going to. It’s just a bunch of guys playing the sport they love and giving it their all. MLB is pretty awesome to watch though but I’m going with college baseball

Would probably love MLB more if it had been in NOLA, but oh well

I don't think I've watched one inning of college baseball in my life as a spectator or on the tube
if you've never watched even an inning of college baseball, how can you have such a strong opinion about it?
Because I played it

I have a hard time watching college baseball unless it’s Florida or the tournament. I can watch almost any random regular season MLB game

I follow LSU much more than I do the MLB, but that’s because I’m an LSU fan first and foremost in all things sports. However, those MLB guys make it look so fricking easy it’s truly incredible how great they are at their craft.

College is terrible
If you watch SEC baseball, you are essentially watching future top MLB draft picks all over the field. If you were as big of a Red Sox fan as you pretended to be, you would realize almost all of your players played college ball, with 4 playing SEC ball alone
To answer the OP
I would rather watch LSU baseball over any MLB game
If its random teams, I would rather watch MLB

College... I haven’t watched hardly any MLB since the end of the Braves run. I probably couldn’t name 20 MLB players now
Braves are looking to be favorites this year in the east and building a very young/talented team.

Did you bitch at me for hyperbole and then slam this sucker down?

The SEC had 21 players picked in the top 5 rounds last year
5 in the 1st round alone
99 SEC players in total taken
In 2017, 8 SEC players were taken in the 1st round alone
Hows my taint taste?

I prefer college until the playoffs start for mlb.

But how many of them go right up?
It's rare no?
Don't they usually spend 3-4 years in the minors before getting the call up?
With the good ones coming up in 1-2?

Not sure the point of the question to me. I simply said college baseball, specifically the SEC, has a ton of MLB top draft picks now
It isnt like it used to be with all the top talent going straight out of high school

okay just wondering.
I mean I can't get into the sport just because it really doesn't have a wide discussion and wide coverage.
And being up here, it's not something that is just common conversation in the bar or workplace.
For example: Machado's contract was the talk all day yesterday, not some midweek college baseball game.

I mean I'm really not going to turn on South Carolina either, or really watch the post season.
Maybe different if I was somewhere else, but the footprint of the sport doesn't really leave the SEC states, it's not a national sport like football or basketball is.
So outside of this forum, I wouldn't discuss with anyone.

MLB is the best league out there. Blows NBA and NFL out of the water.
