99 SEC players in total taken
And how many of those actually make the show?
Do you seriously watch SEC baseball and then years of Minor League Baseball in little towns all across America in the hopes that you can see your favorite SEC players in MLB one day?

Definitely college. Last few years, I hadn’t even watched a game of MBL until playoffs, and really only because the Astros were in it.
But I enjoy watching both college baseball and college softball.

5th round picks are organizational filler until proven otherwise. 3rd round picks typically won’t start showing up on organizations top prospect list until they’ve proven it for a year or two in the minors.

Not really. My daughter loves the sport and enjoys watching the Cajuns games, so I’ll watch with her. While I prefer baseball, I do like how the softball games move quicker due to no pickoff attempts.

Now watching other conferences, that might be more difficult

I prefer college. I have season tickets to Razorback baseball but I have no rooting interest to any MLB team since there are none around here (although I did watch quite a few Red Sox games due to Benintendi). It's just hard to get into it because of that. Last Saturday I watched us play a baseball doubleheader and then walked next door to watch us play basketball. The same teams you play in college baseball you love to hate in basketball and football as well.
That doesn't mean I would watch Grambling play Murray State, but I wouldn't in college football either lol. But it is hard to follow due to the lack of coverage for it, ESPN doesn't even update college baseball scores in real time. I can understand why people don't like it.
Not quite the same, but we have the Royals AA team here and people would much rather support their university and call the hogs than root for some team who's roster is half made up of players from Ecuador and the Dominican Republic that might not be here in 3 months.
