I just got back from a hiking trip with my wife and our friends. They happen to be a married black couple. Everything was jovial and we had a good time drinking a few beers by a waterfall and discretely lighting a firework by the water. This division everyone is on about between blacks and whites is an almost completely artificial creation of the internet. Race relations were in all reality doing just fine and improving by the year until people for various reasons decided to sow the seeds of conflict on social media.

Every country has a sordid past to some degree. We were an experiment in liberty that became an experiment in being an ethnic melting pot.
