I wonder if he is to get picked up by a team if he has learned his lesson and will stand for the national anthem

Sooo....can any mediocre player who has been out of the league for three years show up for this, or is it only for Kaep?

My theory is it was part of the settlement but the NFL is being petty

Probably. Considering teams have supposedly been free to call Kaepernick & bring him in.

Colts sign Kaep? They are still in playoff contention after losing Luck & now Brissett is banged up . Hoyer threw 3 picks with a 38 passer rating & his team lost to Dolphins.

It has to have been part of the settlement, if not why would the NFL help him after being sued by him?

" Help him"?

The NFL isnt doing Kaep any favors by announcing this odd NFL sanctioned workout on barely 3 days notice & 10 weeks into the season.

Why not just have any teams interested contact his agent like any other Free agent?

Which is why I said it must be a part of the settlement deal because of how half arse this workout is organized.

Try to keep up

Money is on him signing with Chicago and starting by season's end.

Winning matters more than anything, and the guy is easily better than 3 current NFL starters.

This. Here's a good thread explaining the whole process of how it went down.

Sean Weatherspoon, who has not played since the 2017 season, was a supporter of Kaepernick’s decision to kneel during the national anthem in 2016 to bring attention to perceived racial injustices across the U.S. But Weatherspoon tweeted he has felt excluded from the league. “Colin Kaepernick isn’t the only player that deserves a workout,” Weatherspoon tweeted. “I publicly supported him and what he kneeled for! I still stand on my word! I’ve never even been cut from a team! I’ve definitely been excluded going on damn near 3 years. I’m in Atlanta too @nfl.”

But why ? The Bears are probably done soon . Why not give Tribisky the snaps considering you traded up for him & they have Daniels as a backup.

Colts . Luck out. Brissett is injured & Hoyer just threw 3 picks in a lost to the Dolphins. I'd hate to know my playoff hopes are all in Hoyer's hands if Brissett can't go.

Thre Bears know that Mitch isn't the answer. Might as will upgrade and roll the dice then try for another QB next season. It's an easy PR sell if it works, and they have the roster to make even a small upgrade at QB into a huge improvement.

Just leave him alone. No team should sign him. If he kneels down again during the anthem, the team will be in a mess again.

lol at anyone who thinks the falcons would think twice about him. they are there because it's being held at their practice facility. nothing more.
