No, I haven't. I have heard them referred to as assholes, douchebags, shitheads, trashy, etc.

Not sure why thug is any worse than those things, simply because it has developed a racial connotation.

I've noticed this too. He's become much more political this year. I usually enjoy his sports take, especially around this time of year, but over the summer, I frequently found myself changing the channel. During the nfl draft/Michael Sam kiss, he was unbearable. He went on for days about gay rights and his show lost all sports context. I didn't start listening again until September.

It reminds me of the Broncos game yesterday. Denver had a bad penalty on defense that saved Tom's drive. The camera shows Peyton's reaction and he's frustrated and shaking his head. Of course, because it's Peyton, his reaction is okay because "he knows how important that stop was" or "he's just a big time competitor".

If Cam did that, he's being immature or not being a leader.

To this point, apparently Luck "slapped" a teammate on the sidelines tonight and it was described as him being really fired up about tonight's game.

Now imagine Cam slapping one of O-lineman and tell me what the media's response would be?

LOL at the implication that Cam pays attention to what happens on the field when he's not on it.

You Auburn fans are insufferable when it comes to Cam. Dude is a complete douche who will never realize his full potential. He is really no better at reads and throwing the ball now than he was as a rookie.

I don't understand why it's okay to rag on Kaep for showing absolutely no passing improvements in 2.5 years but not Cam Newton.

He admits his antics are purely to stir up drama and get ratings, once I heard that, I look at it as purely entertainment, and not fact. He jumps to conclusions a lot

don't mind his use of politics though. He's usually pretty fair when he does it, and I like the added angles he can use to explain his opinions. He's only pissed me off a handful of times and I listen to him fairly regularly.

My point is, I don't think his use of politics drags down his breakdown of sports

Cam pouts and it's all over ESPN that he's immature. Brady cusses out coaches and Peyton pouts but it's okay because they're just big time competitors.

Super Bowl wins give credibility.
