Yeah, no one will ever take coastal serious when their defense is this bad and they commit stupid immature penalties and have tons of drops.

May be a stupid question but since it's never happened, I don't think I know the answer to it. So the highest ranked G5 champion gets an auto berth to a NY6 game. If Cincinnati made the playoffs, is that the sole G5 bid?
So say Cinci makes the playoff and Coastal stays undefeated and comes out the SBC champions and ranked. Is that G5 spot in the non-playoff NY6 still reserved for a G5 or is it nullified by a G5 Cinci reaching the playoff?

I’m assuming the bid would go to the highest second ranked G5 team since the first one is in the playoff.
Coastal, UTSA, SMU, Louisiana, UTEP are the only teams I could see filling that role as in they are the teams with 0 or 1 losses still, which is absolutely wild considering where these programs were 5 years ago.

Yeah that's what I'm not sure about if it's like a conference tie in where if the original tie in makes the playoff then they go to the second ranked tie in. Like Texas going to the Sugar bowl when Big 12 champ OU made the playoff.
